A living Legend and Club Vice-President she
can trace her Croke roots back over 3 centuries. Her
Father played football for the Crokes in 1900, she herself
played camogie for the club in the late 1920's and 40's as did
her husband Dan Kavanagh in the 40's and 50's. Her sons wore the
Black and Amber in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. Because
of it's long and proud history the Croke club takes great pride
in it's many families who have given their all and still do, to
promote the club. The Myers/Kavanagh dynasty is something
special. Her Grandsons and Granddaughters are prominent
players on Dr Croke teams. Nellie Kavanagh
a true Croke Legend.
