018 Registration open Day

Dr Crokes GAA Club invites the parents in the Killarney area and their boys and girls to the 2018 Registration open Day this Saturday 8th of September. Boys and Girls aged 4 - 10 welcome. Hurling from 10 am to 10.40am and Football 10.40am to 12Noon.

Colm Cooper tournament

This Saturday 8th of September the Dr Crokes GAA Club will host the 7th Annual Colm Cooper Tournament in Lewis Road. This provides us with an opportunity to honour Colm one of our, and Kerry’s, greatest ever footballers. Add to this, the opportunity for the clubs Under 13 Boys to compete with boys from all over the country. This year we are delighted to host Bishopstown Cork, Donabate Dublin, Corofin Galway, Naomh Mairtin Louth, St Colmcilles Meath, Castlebar Mayo & Bantry Cork.
Teams will play in 2 groups with all teams playing in either a Cup or Plate Semi Final.
The Tournament Trophies & medals are kindly sponsored by the Coffey family in memory of Denis Coffey RIP a former player and club official of the club.
The organising committee is looking forward to another successful Tournament and issue an open invitation to everyone to come and support the players of the future, as well as paying tribute to Colm and his family.
Games commence at 11:40 am and we hope to have the Tournament Final beginning at 5:40 pm.

Congratulations to Cillian Courtney on his involvement in the Irish Pitch & Putt team's victory over Catalonia last week.
 

Congratulations to the Killarney Senior Ladies especially the Crokes contingent and Manager Caoimhin O'Donoghue on winning the Senior County Championship.

Congratulations to the Kerry Minors and Management on winning the All Ireland last weekend. 

Well done to our girls Laura, Katie, Sinead, Teagan & Pia who took part in a Munster blitz in Mallow with the Kerry Under 13 development squad.

Dr Crokes Club are embarking on a fundraising initiative to help upgrade the current facilities of our grounds as it has been 12 years since serious work has been carried out. There are fantastic prizes to be won with the first prize a Nissan Pulsar Executive Class Car and second prize is a four-night stay for two people in New York including flights. We have 10 prizes in total and the draw will take place on December 20th 2018. Tickets are €10 each or a book of 6 for €50. There will be an additional draw of €1000 for those who purchase a full book for €50. Tickets can be purchased in the Tatler Jack, Club members or Kerry Shop in Killarney Outlet Centre
