Club Notes Week 16 2020   20/04/2020

COVID 19 Has everything still at a standstill due to the  ongoing  pandemic  our playing fields, gym, and clubhouse are closed and will be until the sanctions are lifted. Hopefully in the not too distant future. When the ok comes from the powers that be action will resume albeit in a structured order.Thank you to all for complying with the regulations during these difficult times. Special credit must go to our communications committee for their endeavours in putting videos and photos from our archives on social media to help our members to reminisce  during the present crisis. There has been a tremendous reaction to this initiative from near and far. many more will follow in the coming days,


Many projects for our physical, mental  and social health and well being, juvenile fun games, etc have been initiated by the GAA all maybe viewed on our website www.drcrokes.com.


We urge all members and supporters and their families to abide by the guidelines and stay safe and hopefully we will be back on the playing fields in the not too distant future.  


JUVENILES 200 TOUCHES DAILY during the present lockdown we encourage all juveniles to practise their skills. All you need is a ball and a wall.

GAELTACHT SCHOLARSHIP Each GAA club in East Kerry will be allotted one Gaeltacht scholarship, if any Gaeltacht programmes are operated this year.  If Dr Crokes club members are interested, please apply by email to secretary.drcrokes.kerry@gaa.com, stating the name of the child for whom the scholarship is being applied.  If more than one application is received, a draw will be made for final allocation of the scholarship.


BINGO at St. Marys Parish Hall on Sundays is postponed for the foreseeable future and will resume when the current guidelines are lifted..


LOTTO is suspended for next few weeks and we will review on the 5th of May 2020.
