O’BRIENS HAS ANNOUNCED A 3 YEAR SPONSORSHIP DEAL WITH KERRY’S LEADING GAA CLUB, DR. CROKES
10th May 2008: O’Briens Sandwich Bars has announced a major sponsorship deal with Kerry’s leading GAA club, Dr Crokes. O’Briens will be the main club sponsor over the next 3 years and will be investing significantly in the sponsorship, which will see the O’Briens brand name appearing on the front of the team jerseys, on the website, as well as in the Lewis Road training ground.
The new jerseys will be launched on Saturday 10th of May at 11.00am at O’Briens, Beech Road, Killarney. Manager of the senior Kerry football team Pat O’Shea along with five of the current under 21 All Ireland football champions and four of the current players with the senior Kerry team will attend to model the new-look jerseys.

Dr. Crokes has over 3,000 supporters and is one of the most popular clubs in the region. 800 members, both male and female, play football and hurling on a regular basis from the age of 6 onwards. The club enjoys a huge profile in the county and currently has 11 players representing Kerry at senior, minor and under 21 level, including one of Irelands most high profile sportsmen Colm Gooch Cooper along with the current Kerry County Manager Pat O’Shea.
The new-look leisurewear, complete with the O’Briens logo, will be available from the Dr. Crokes club shop, due to open this June.
