A great performance to
hopefully begin our winning ways ! Having conceded
two early goals our team took control of this game
half way through the 1st half. Two goals by Alex O'
Sullivan gave the team a great boost and by half
time crokes were dominating most areas of the field.

At the start of the 2nd
half , the team upped their performance - the back
line tightened up considerably and were inspired by
great performances from Joe Keaogh and from P.J.
Lawlor (Captain). Kieran Ward and Timmy O' Donoghue
continued to put pressure on the Spa midfield
pairing. Lots of hard work from Chris Brady Eoin
Clifton and Kieth O' Leary ensured a variety of
attacking options were available for the team. Cian
Buckley won alot of ball and finished with a total
of 1-3 from play. Steve Clifford, back after a
number of years, contributed 1-1 when he came on as
a substitute. The scoring could have been higher but
for poor shooting after all the hard work was done.
However the team can be very proud of the effort and
commitment shown by all.
